What started as a single room and a handful of students has grown into something we never quite planned but somehow always knew was possible.
Back in 2018, our founder noticed something odd. Everyone she knew complained about back pain, stress, and poor sleep. Yet when she suggested yoga, the response was always the same: "I'm not flexible enough" or "That's not for people like me."
She realized the problem wasn't yoga itself but how it was being taught and marketed. Too often it felt exclusive, intimidating, or disconnected from real bodies and real lives.
Yoga isn't about touching your toes or holding impossible poses. It's about learning to inhabit your body with more awareness and less resistance.
We teach movement patterns that translate into daily life. The strength you build on the mat helps you lift your child, carry groceries, or sit at a desk without pain. The breathwork you practice helps you navigate difficult conversations with more calm.
This isn't mystical. It's practical skill-building disguised as stretching.
Our instructors come from diverse backgrounds: physical therapy, dance, martial arts, and traditional yoga lineages. What unites them is a commitment to teaching people, not just poses.
Every teacher here has at least 500 hours of training and continues learning through monthly workshops and peer review sessions. We don't believe in the guru model. We believe in competent professionals who respect your autonomy.
Classes are capped at 12 students so instructors can provide individual attention. We offer modifications for every pose and encourage you to skip anything that doesn't serve you.
No one here will pressure you to go deeper, push harder, or achieve some idealized version of a posture. The goal is sustainable practice, not performance.
We also recognize that bodies are different. What works for a 25-year-old dancer won't work for a 60-year-old with joint replacements. That's why our classes are organized by intention and intensity, not by arbitrary skill levels.
Your first class is always a trial. Come see if our approach resonates with you.
